Scuba Adventurers Climb to New Heights

Minimum Requirements

All tours are customized based on the guests’ experience and fitness level—no previous climbing experience is necessary. If you can fit within these general guidelines, then this may be the adventure for you:

• Minimum age 8 years old
• Due to the rough terrain at the base of the Bluff, you must be able to walk comfortably on uneven, rocky surfaces for up to 30 minutes
• Your waist must be 42 inches in diameter or less to fit into our harnesses
• Your thighs must be 28 inches in diameter or less to fit into our leg loops
• Your weight can’t exceed 250 pounds

Equipment

Rock Iguana provides all climbing and rappelling gear, including climbing shoes (up to US men’s size 13 and US women’s size 14), harnesses, helmets, ropes, belay devices, etc. They also provide transportation between our resort and the climb sites. To participate safely and comfortably, you should bring the following items:

• Closed-toe shoes (suggest hiking shoes or rugged sneakers)
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle (cooler on the van for refills)
• Snacks
• Insect repellent
• Hat for sun protection
• Small backpack for your items
• Camera or phone to record your adventures

To save time if you’re doing a Wall to Wall climb/rappel package, download, print, and complete a waiver for each participant in your party.
